Although Tucker, formerly a professional cantor at the Brooklyn Jewish Center in NYC, remained devout in the Jewish faith throughout his life, he did record a few Christian pieces during his career. This is a recording from 1967 (or 68?), singing the Lord’s Prayer. One of the best renditions I’ve ever heard.
The lyrics for this piece are taken directly from the King James version of the New Testament, book of Matthew, chapter 6, verses 9-13 (Matthew 6:9–13).
